Hello everyone!

It's that time again to show off your photographic works of art!

Welcome to the first contest of 2009! It's gonna be a great year!

This months contest is all about the genus Echinocereus. Any specie, any situation -cultivavtion or habitat. Show us what you beleive to be the photo that best illustrates what an Echinocereus is.

The prize this time around will be a pack of 50 pot labels! You can re-label your collection and get it all looking good for the coming season! (afterall, labeled plants grow better ;) )

Deadline for submissions will be: Jan. 20, 2009

One of my favorite things about Echinocereus is the massive clumps that some species can form. Here is a super-mound of E. maritimus in Baja:
