The Voting is Over...

We have a tie!

John and Fraj have tied for first place with 7 votes each while Deefar and Cactusveda tied for second place with 5 votes. This was a neat contest. Thanks again to Bill for comming up with the idea. Thanks to all who submitted entries and thanks to the voters for making the tough decision on which to pick.

We will start contest #4 on April 2 and this time Dominique has picked the topic which is Cacti Fruit! Start looking though your photos now and find your favorite fruit picture!

There is a reported field sighting of our host -Daiv, working on his entry for the next contest.

This collection recorded 3/25/06 at 34° 0.95'N, 117° 26.97'W (near Jurupa, CA)

Daiv,

Nice pictures. The place is Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center in Riverside. I worked there for 5 years as director of grounds. The succulent gardens are as nice as there are in SoCal.
