Sounds like some great additions!

Could I ask you a favor, to post extra pics of of your Euphorbia cereiformis? This may or may not be a valid species, may or may not be known only from cultivation, and may or may not be a hybrid :) So it's interesting :)

Thanks,
-R

I think your no tag "Ferocactus" is actually that extra-nice-spined Melocactus that seems to be available out east.

I also think that the R. horrida (aka R. baccifera ssp horrida) is actually R. pilocarpa. Prompted by a plant that CP had, I did a compared the two and put my conclusions on these pages:

http://www.cactiguide.com/cactus/?genus ... =baccifera

Nice ones, Tracey!

You'll want to be carefull with that Euphorbia with the small pups at the base. These plants grow them from below the soil level, which is why they are light green. Exposed like that could burn them pretty quickly.

I agree with daiv on all accounts, I would love to have that beautiful melocactus.
I think that euphorb is one of the different forms of Horrida? or maybe its was polygona? or.... :P

8) Thanks guys, Daiv, that R. horrida looks diffrent than the other one i have thats simular that was sent to me as a cutting its a lighter green and has less spines/hairs on it. I will snap a pic of the 2 of them side by side and post it up for yaz, also thanks for letting me know that one big one is a Melocactus, when its spines get wet they turn a beautiful red color, real eye catching.. :P

Thanks Darryl, i do keep it in a bright spot in the GH but its not in full sun yet i know the little pups would fry for sure, its turned so that the pups are on the shadey side. So did something happen to the top of it or is it supose to look like that?

Thanks Tony that Melocactus is a real beaut.. :D

Thanks Iann, so are the 2 Mamm Spinossima red headed irishman the same or diffrent one has darker longer red spines with darker body compared to the other..

I will get some pics of the Euphorbia Polygona cv Snowflake and the Chamaelobivia "Rose Quartz" peanut cactus today and more of the other new ones as they come in. I would love to find another Mamm Rhodantha its such a BEAUTIFUL cacti..
