Post by Tony »

This just occured a few days ago to this stenocereus? and portulacaria afra. The growth is fresh on the columner and was easily scarred.

Welcome to Florida style weather. From what I've seen lately about west coast weather, all you need is a hurricane and more humidity to sink to our level!
It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.

Well, there were a few tornado/waterspouts near the coast... Does that count? :)

Of course that counts, but Hurricanes typically spawn tornadoes inside and along with the big blow, so until you get terrified by both at one time you have not known terror of the wind type!

Hey Tony, I'm guessing these are to add to the pest/disease page? I think I'd place it under "Physical Damage" with a note that it was caused by hail.

Yes that was my intention, guess I could have gave ya a heads up on that.
I remembered not seeing examples of it on that page and the damage does somewhat resemble scarring some fungi can cause, paticularly on Epicactus Ive noticed.
