Both very nice blossoms, Apfire!
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Nice flowers. Which Peniocereus (the fat one) is in the background of the second picture?
Re: My Turn to Showcase a Few of My Plants
tumamoc, it is Peniocereus maculatus. I also accidentally broke this a few month ago and now I have 2 Peniocereus maculatus. I figure I'll have blooms in another 5 years. If I stop dropping things.

I'm jealous.

Thanks Harriet, I also my first Echinopsis has bloomed! It is labeled Easter cactus. I got it and 2 others in a trade. Shortly after arriving they started to produce buds.
Not sure what Type of opuntia these are. I got them from cactushobbyman. They are very nice.
This one I purchased from a Lowes when I was in California last year.

If the Harrisia stood straight it would be over 6 ft long. The branches are aboout 2-3 inches thick.
Here are my latest blooms! I got this in a trade.
Here is one of my first grafts to produce a bloom. it is less than 2 year old. The seeds were labeled Hamatocactus.
