a close-up shot would be nice, but from here i'd say Ferocactus hamatacanthus

:-k I'm not sure,because this fruit does not look like other fero's fruit.

Sclerocactus spinosior does form fruit, however I think their fruits are more elongated than the one on your plant. It does look like a Sclerocactus to me, though. Either a Sclerocactus, Glandulicactus or Ancistrocactus. :)

Not Sclerocactus. Hamatacactus hamatacanthus (Ferocactus hamatacanthus) definitely, without question.

I don't think this is a fero,ferocactus hamatacanthus fruits color is green, yellow-green, or olive but this fruit color is different.

Your plant is definitely, unequivocally, without question, certainly, absolutely, positively Ferocactus hamatacanthus. haha. End of story. Absolutely certain. No doubt or question. :-)

Also, hamatacanthus fruit turns reddish brown or brown as it ripens.

Anyway, your plant is absolutely hamatacanthus. Definitely. :-)
