Anybody a musician here?

Post by CactusBoss »

Just a curious question, what do you play(if anything) and how long have you been playing? I've been playing the guitar for 4 years and I also own a USA G&L strat.

I play guitar. Oh boy, how long have I been playing :-k

It's hard to believe, but it is something like 6 years now. Give or take a year. Wow! Where does the time go?

What do you play mostly? I play quite a variety of music, but mostly rock type music.

I like to play in the styles of Joe Satriani, Buckethead, and Neil Zaza so I'm all over the place.

I play the piano and also flute. Used to be able to play guitar. Only have classical stuff for the piano and I play whatever's in my school band on the flute. 8-[
Probably been learning piano for ~ 4-5 years now. I've done flute for 3 years so far. I learned guitar in 5th grade and have forgotten since #-o .
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

I play guitar and have for many years.
My band is playing DNA Lounge in SF on 8/4 and Blank Club in San Jose on 8/28.
We are loud underground rock.
Another fun hobby.

I have been playing oboe for about 5 years now. I love it- my favorite of everything I've ever played. I've also messed around on almost every other woodwind- played clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone for about a year each at different times. Also played flute for a very short time but it made me very dizzy- too used to the oboe's backpressure, I think. I plan on learning piano sometime soon.
