#18: Cumulopuntia pentlandii?

any other suggestion?

Pictures are rather small to see much detail.

I would say that #2 is a baby century plant -- Agave americana. I have dug lots of pups in my time, and this looks just like them.

#17 looks somewhat like Aloe vera in the picture, though it is hard to see the complete texture in the small pic.
