Leaf problem

Sorry it isn't a cactus, but I couldn't find a thread for succulents.
I wonder if anyone has an idea as to why the new leaf tips on my Pachypodium are turning black ?
The old leaves are all right.
It has been in the same place for a few years, with no ill-effects,
and I have not been watering it any differently to the way I've always done.
Thanks for any suggestions ...

Maybe it needs to get watered more since it's growing more. The new leaves need water to grow.
Or maybe since they're new they aren't as accustomed to the sun.

Are they crispy or squishy?

Thanks for your reply.
The black leaf tips are crispy and dry.

Sometimes this happens from overwatering. How often does it get water?

Thanks for replying.
I water it when I remember - which is about once a week ...
The leaves start off normal, and then, after a few days, the tips start to turn black.

I have been watering mine very seldomly (basically letting the rain do the work) and have had no black tips. I think your soil is not giving enough aeration and needs to be more porous.

Possibly a boron difficiancy. Might want to change the soil or fertilize. Could also be a ph imbalance, these plants prefere alkaline soil.
