what is wrong with my cactus?

Hello,

I bought a cactus (silver arrow) over the weekend from home depot. I am new to the cactus world. so When my cactus was first purchased it had a flower on the top of it. I did not know until a few days later after doing some research on my cactus that the flower was fake and i had to carefully remove it. My concern is the spines of my cactus are of a red brown color. Ill insert a photo of it. I am not sure if the needles on it are normal. To me it looks off but i am a newbie so what do i know.

Can't see anything obviously wrong, can you get a closer shot of the problem area?

are all the spines that colour? Spines come in a range of colours from ivory to black, going through, rusts, yellows, oranges and browns.

Also spines in many cacti are of a different color on new growth compared to old.
