i noticed shrinkage on the pad and collapsing new growth i watered thinking it was dehydrated can some confirm my suspicions? and i would also like to say a lot of problems happen to me over the summer because the monsoons come in but my green house is HOT so its tricky watering.

I would check out the root system. The plant may have started to rot. The symptom is very similar to that caused by drought, because the roots are not able to pick up water, once they have died off.
