new aquisitions
Hello
These are some new cacti i aquired and i need help identifying.
1. Gymnocalycium maybe?
2. A mammillaria
3. I thought it's matacuna polzii but they look very different. There are some wooly dead flower buds if that helps.
4. Some sort of old man cactus
Anyone knows how to get them to look so shiny (and green)? Is it some sort of spray?
Thank you!
Rachel.

Re: new aquisitions
Hi Spikylover
Concerning the first two plants, I agree with you! Just wait for the flowers...
no.3 might be a Notocactus,
no.4 looks like an Oreocereus, as you suggested.
Cautious but mentally stable:

4. Is orecereus celsianus
4. Is orecereus celsianus
There are more cacti in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts but concerning the notocactus they flower from the top. If u can see in the picture the wooly bud is coming from the bottom

The plant on the left in your pic entitled "no clue", is, in my opinion, a Euphorbia and not a cactus at all.
