Was refreshing the board index page when the site somehow logged me out. (at least thats how i understand what happened). Anyone experience this or has a clue about how this happened?

From time to time, all users are logged out. You just log in again. It's some sort of user safety measure like facebook loggs you out after a month or so. Here it happens every 2 weeks i guess.

I know that my faculty's servers auto log out after a period of non activity, but dont have facebook and never experienced something like this(nor on my previous account ).

Oh,it happened again! Am I being banned?? or is something else wrong?

I keep getting " the connection has timed out". Is it internet or forum related?

Throw away your cookies (the digital ones) and try again.

That was not the best thing ive ever done-had to go recover at least three of my passwords.
Hope it doesnt bite back in the long run.

So, daiv explained that hes trying to somehow get "moving" or " transferring" or "separating" or"rebelling" the server, making it independent from cactus mall. So, you might experience bugs..

One of the problems on the Cactus Mall server at present is also it does not like non ASCII characters like Pound, Dollar or Euro signs and if you use them instead of the words you get the strange message "not enough characters" and it will not post, which is the exact opposite of the truth.
