Most time of the year I´m living on the Canary Islands, there are seven islands.
Endemic plants are the genus Aeonium. Each island have one or more Aeonium species.
Also I have seen two species on Madeira and there are one on the Kap Verde, one in Marocco and two in East Adrica.
On the Canary Islands you find lots of hybrids. Aeonium are nice garden plants and people bring plants from one to another
island. Today I want to show you some pics I made at the habitat place, most of the plants you find in the northestern part.
Aeonien don´t like much sun. It is easy to get seedlings from seeds, but the seeds are very small, 1000 s are about 20mg.

Re: Genus Aeonium
These are fantastic! I always have a problem with differentiating Aeonium and Echeveria. These make it even more difficult because I've never seen them in habitat.
