Awesome. This is technically a free plant now cause I got a refund. Was naive to think a heatpack would’ve been enough. Sounds like this thing will make it. Also what should I do about the half broken off piece?

Trash it? If it's frost damaged, there's really nothing you can do with it.

Wait if you are talking about the piece of rib that's broken, just trash it. The areoles are located in the indentations.

No it’s one of the parts that’s not frost damaged. It just happens to be half detached from the remaining healthy parts of the plants

Should be ok. Maybe give it a fertilization to give it a boost.

As long as the roots didn't get frozen, it should be fine. I would skip the fertilizer for now.
