Saguaro. Cardon has greyish or white, saguaro yellowish /brown or black.
How much has it grow in 6 years? I think top weak spines show it doesn't like something.

Thank you
You have a sharp eye. It hasn't been growing that much these years . I have been using a systemic insecticide since last year and it just started growing. I suspect root mealybugs which i found on several other plants but not this plant.

It might not be growing that much due to where you are ?

It looks like its pot is too small, large columnar cacti like this need a wide root run.

This is actually a good time to re-pot - just don't water until spring.

Many think that poor mineral substrate and two drops of water a year are good for cacti.
Big cacti like much space, feed and enough water.
Though there're bonsaists also among cactus growers. 😁
