Aloe roeoeslii

Aloe roeoeslli was collected by Walter Röösli and Ralpha Hoffmann on Madagacar Antsirana Province.
This Aloe was decribed by Lavaranos and T.A Mc Coy in Kakt.u. Sukk. 56:67 in 2005.
About four years ago I got seed from Walter Röösli. I sew seeds, this year in October flowers for the first time.
Look at pics from the habitat on Madegascar, my seedlings in my greenhouse on Gran Canaria, flowers 10.10.

Thank you for sharing. Without the name tag & at first glance I had thought this might be an Aloe vera.
Are you an Aloe buff?
What is the specialty of this species, please? Curious minds wanna know.

Hello Perez-Suarez,

thank you very, very much for those impressive pictures. I am very impressed: healthy plants, youngsters & oldsters, great variety, interesting gardens, great pictures. For me living in the relatively could Germany, it is always wonderful to see such plants grown outside, in a garden or yard -- not in tiny pots on a windowsill.

Would you mind telling me where your finca is located -- Spain or South America or ...?

Hi nachtkrabb,
in the wintertime i`m living on Gran Canaria ( Canary Islands) on my " finca" with wife, dog and a lot of turtels ( water),
summertime in Germany my garden in Germany only with a greenhouse for succulents.
