Nice one Daiv. It's nice to have book reviews by someone who knows the subject. :)

Consider it done Hob.

Here is another change:

Added a new field on the detail page called "Encounterability" -this made-up word of mine describes the likelyhood of someone encountering a given species.

Here are the various encounterability options in order of most likely to encounter to least likely:

Common Worldwide
Common Locally in Some Areas
Unusual in Collections
Rare
Extremely Rare
Not in Cultivation

This data is not yet listed for all species. Eventually, this will be added to the advanced search which will enable users to select various combinations of criteria to search and return a more specific result. i.e. - Search: Globose, white flowered, Common Worldwide in combination to return a reduced number of entries to sort through. This would have helped prevent our new member from selecting Coleocephalocereus if you saw that post.

Example of new field here: http://www.cactiguide.com/cactus/?genus=Brasiliopuntia
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
