Hi,

Great turn-out for this contest! Thanks to everybody for sharing their pics. Some very cool photos, not only the contest photos, but the additional photos in the discussion thread are great too.

However, we now have to pick just one ;)

i hope you guys don't mind i did a bit of editing on some of the shots to practice my image processing. i think i did a bit too much to my entry :oops:

It's hard for me to say whether I prefer unedited, unaltered images or photoshopped ones. Sometimes I fool with contrast and brightness but the colors all start to look like various flavors of highly artificial soda! My usual verdict is the original image is sometimes more true to what my eye sees, and sometimes the edited image is more true.

thats all i do, contrast and brightness and sometimes a minimal sharpening.
