Re: Hana's cacti
Some ariocarpus retusus related species were in flower yesterday afternoon.
The cactus on the 1st photo seems mixed some other ariocarpus species but I am not sure because my friend gave me the seed.

Re: Grafting albino variegates to pereskiopsis disaster
G'morning AirWreck, I found the central meristem of the last remaining scion to be infected with a wee spot of rust fungus. I have never experienced to graft white Coryphantha species but experienced Astrophytum asterias. White asterias seedlings are possible to graft. I am not sure because I do not...

Re: Hana's cacti
It is the last month of autumn in here but it seems some ariocarpus species will not be in flower in this season. The photo is one of them, a retusus v furfuraceus cv Daruma seiji. This one was also no flowers last two autumns. The cactus is a rooted off-set and shows the character of cultivar quite...

G'morning 7george,
Frank
I think you are talking about Photo IMG_4163. The cactus is one plant and has tween heads.Even the tweens can be different individuals.

Re: Hana's cacti
G'morning Nino_G, My goodness Frank, what happened to those A. kotschoubeyanus f. Rio Verde? These cacti are degafted ones. They rely on own-roots but the character of "grafted" has still remained. There was a competition which was shortest period from seed to flower in a domestic cactus f...
