Degrafted turbinicarpus alonsoies were in flower yesterday. Alonsoi is a small cactus but they are not small because of grafted once.

Some cacti were in flower yesterday afternoon. I think they received stronger sunlight because of removed shade clothes.

Shade colthes of large greenhouse were also removed yesterday afternoon. An ariocarpus fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower after removed shade clothes.

I set my small greenhouse for autumn/winter in this morning. Actual job was removing shade clothes covered over the greenhouse during summer time. I like that red brick dressing
The top dressing is not red brick. The product is called "zeolite" which is crashed permeable rock. Zeolite is reddish when it was dried but it turns the colour as like on the photo when it was watered. I use 2~4 mm size.

I bought seeds of A. fissuratus Big Bend and sowed in 2003. 5 of them have servived. They were germinated in my greenhouse and sit in there for 20 years.

I have no chance to see habitad cacti and so your photos are excellent information for me.

An uebelmannia pectinifera was in flower yesterday, which flower was very small.
This cactus is in flower through a year except mid summer.

Although the shape of flower was a bit abnormal, an ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus was in flower in this morning.
