Nice looking plants. I almost feel bad for my Thelocactus Hastifer when they flower compared to a bicolor but they are pretty sweet plants

Thanks for the answer. I think subterraneus and booleanus are synonyms; accepted name (at least in Llifle Database) is Turbinicarpus mandragora ssp. booleanus . Nice pictures :thumbright: I guess that drooping Turbinicarpus in the first picture is T. booleanus . I'm curious if the large one with brown epidermis in the last picture is T. bonatzii ? Yes it is. Their flowers seem to be a different hint of red every year. I have a Glandulicactus that started to bud that also has darker red flowers

These Pilosocereus definitely have one of my favorite flowers. The depth inside the flower and they smell like sweet nectar
