I couldn't decide what lobivia do i want so i ordered 1000 seeds of lobivia mix. I don't know the germination rate but i'd say maybe 75%. However, there seems to be a predominant shape between the seedlings so i don't think the mix is evenly distributed

Is it running on drip irrigation? Most of the time. The irrigation at my parents house can be intermittent. It's on the same line as row of S. marginatus which are definitely not overwatered. Maybe tubby there is getting all the water before it can get to the S. marginatus. Am i missing something? ...

Wow thanks guys! The photo is actually taken in Beirut where i go to college 3 days a week. I ended up not getting it because it was a bit pricey and i don't have a good track record wirh euphorbia. Instead i got a very beautiful mammillaria matudae that has no central spines and the radials are bla...

I saw this plant today at the nursery. It is a very peculiar plant and i haven't seen anything like it. Is it some sort of epiphyte?
Disclaimer: the dual spines make me think euphorbia but i have never seen a dangling euphorbia so

Awesome pics! I was wondering how you all are able to tell the plant from just the photo. What I mean is, I think there are several mammillaria types that have a similar appearance with the barbed spines. How does one distinguish? Are the fruits the giveaway? Is the location a clue? Some day I hope...
