Hi everyone, cheers for having a read. So I'm in Australia, Mediterranean kind of climate. It's coming into/already the time that I really want to start bringing stuff out into the sun but I'm worked about possibly too bright direct light in the peak of summer. One step ahead of ya Nachtkrabb. I put a few in my propagation box about a week ago and almost all of them have sprouted.

Nah, not in person. Only in photos, aren't they awesome?! I was recently given one of the "apples" by a friend who has one, so that I could collect the seed.

Maybe Cereus repandus? Common name is Peruvian Apple.

Tecticornia lepidosperma, commonly called Samphire is an Australian succulent that can be eaten. Carpobrotus also produce an edible fruit, the most prized of which seems to be Carpobrotus edulis.
