Am I Mammillaria?
Hi guys, I bought this cactus 2 years ago and had an assumption that it might have been some of Mammillaria. Now I've decided to find more about it. But unfortunately, I can't find it in my book. Is it indeed Mammillaria? Maybe you would know the exact name? Or is it something else? 1584790624744.JP...

Repot Mammillaria with buds?
Hi guys, I've recently bought couple of new tiny cacti and going to repot all of them with complete replacement of soil. But one of them is Mammillaria with buds and I'm not sure how to deal with it. Should I repot it and hope that buds won't dry up and fall away or it's better to wait and give it a...

Re: Cactus rotting in the middle
I use regular substance for cacti from the shop (ph 6.0-7.0, mostly torf, small amount of send, small amount of perlit) as 0.5 + 0.3 sand + 0.2 crashed stones. To be honest it's the best of what I can found at local shops ![sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_frown.gif)

Turning cactus around
Hi guys, I'm a bit new to the whole process. I've recently read that during winter cactus can't be turned. In another words it should stay still to form buds and if it's turned there is a huge probability that all the buds will be transformed to children offsets. Is it right? Also if the first state...

It has some deformations but I've examined planty of parodia leninleninghausii images and it's rather common. Root system is huge for such a little plant (9cm toll). ...
