Re: Weird spots on Echinocactus grusonii
Thanks a lot. Didn't know about that possibility of fungal to have delayed effect.
I've read that Echinocactus grusonii could be kept in partial shade while young not to have sunburns. For now I keep it over there almost half a year and it grows pretty well, maybe spines slightly smaller.

Difficulties with Lobivia famatimensis
Hello everyone, I've bought this Lobivia last spring. Have permanent issues with it: in spring it wakes up as one of the last and starts growing for a short period of time, then with start of summer when the air becomes hotter it stops growing. Taking into account that in winter I repotted it and ro...

Weird spots on Echinocactus grusonii
Hello everyone, I've bought this grusonii more than 5 years ago. It was growing pretty well, until last year some weird spots started appearing. My first thought - those were burns because it was staying on the direct sun and I moved it into the shadow, but then this year new spots appeared. They ar...

Re: Definetely 2 Mammillarias and 1 unknown (maybe Gymnocalicium)
Thanks a lot for your help, I checked all sources you've sent. 1st image I still don't feel for sure which one is that Mammillaria haageana or Mammillaria woodsii. Both has 2 central spines and plenty of radial. I believe it's not critical then, as I said in the beginning, Mammillaria is difficult f...
