I think both Dave and Cactifan are right. It is easy for me to get unusual and rare cacti with all the european growers nearby.

No, they never arrive like that. I clean them thoroughly. I don't want any soil left to avoid rot.

Hello. Unfortunately I cannot id your succulent, but I can say that it is extremely etiolated due to the lack of sunlight. That is the reason it grew so tall and the leaves are far appart from each other. I would suggest you cut it at the very top and try to root it. Place it in a much more sunnier ...

Ah, you got one blooming, great!
I haven't seen any blooms in mine after maybe 3 years of having them? Right now they are being attacked by red mites, so things are not looking good.
