Another option would be to take big stem cuttings, or maybe even try to split off a stem where it branches at the ground, so it may already have roots. I've considered that. I'd be willing to do that as well but it's going to be a part of a larger solution come that time. It's a big plant and it's ...

Thank you both! Lucy, that's an excellent suggestion. If and when we decide we wish to remove it, we'll start with the Huntington and hit Cal Poly next.
