Opuntia monacantha as RS
Good day to all! I have been wondering if O. monacantha can be used as a root stock for grafting. I have plenty of them in my yard. Have any of you tried it? Thanks in advance

Ferocactus glaucescens changed color
Is this normal? It was green the other day.
Still rigid to touch, not soft. Sun exposure is about 4-5 hrs, hot and humid.
Thanks in advance
Note: First pic is the pic when I bought it. Had no recent pic of it when it was still green. Thanks

Re: Coryphantha or Mammillaria?
Magdanag umaga! Coyphantha usually are solitary and looks like yours is pupping like crazy. I though maybe C. reduncispina except for that. I did not see the classic Coryphantha groove on the top of the tubercle, but that is no proof. You may just have to wait for flowers... Shmuel Thanks for the r...

Thanks for the IDgreenknight wrote: βTue Apr 21, 2020 12:34 am M. sheldonii also has green stigmas, it's true (thornberi doesn't). but not such a slender stem. 90% sure it's mazatlanensis.
