Just curious which books are must haves even after years in the hobby? The book you pick up time after time and always appreciate it's information. I am looking for some good care books but I would love to hear anything that you all feel is a necessity as a cactus lover.

Well I am mainly growing Copiapoa Cinerea, I am guessing that would be under the list of slow growers. Now that you mention it, how do you care for seedlings that aren't ready for adult care?

When you make cuttings what do you find encourages the most root growth? I was told to put cuttings in a dark warm area and it seemed to do the trick, I am not sure if that is the case with all cacti though. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I was curious what you personal preferences were to opening the sealed bags or containers of your seedlings? I have heard a few different time references, from 3 months to a year. Anyone have any info to share on the matter?

haha, yeah these are all in my care. Yessir I did make a few of these pots. I made all the deep brown pots, besides the first and last three photos. Those are old japanese shohin bonsai pots.
