As far as treating them as adult plants, more sunlight, less water, transplanting, its a couple years or up to many years for Ariocarpus. Hi keith, can you share your te...

Re: Sick Pereskiopsis
Thank you for the insights! Yes, had several recommendations also from growers here to just dispose of the plant. Will do full diagnoses first before doing that (ultimate solution). Had the plants isolated already to prevent contagion (just in case the problem is viral).

Re: H202 directly on the seedlings?
This is very informative. Thank you all for sharing. Started sowing seeds in the first quarter of 2020. Have some algae growing but did not bother them since they did not envelope the seedlings. I find this very informative as I might need to spray the H2O2 in the future (as needed).

Re: Sick Pereskiopsis
My instinct would be that it is an insect attack of some sort but I have no idea which insect pests you have there. I would remove the affected part and a good portion of stem below it and immediately plunge it in boiling water and leave it there until you are sure it is dead. Then wash hands thoro...

Hello from the edge of Western Pacific - the Philippines
Hello from the tropical country of the Philippines. Joined last October 2020, forgot about my registration, and found my way back again while researching a topic on Pereskiopsis disease. Starting to read posts here now but hopefully will see you guys in the other sections. Thank you!
