it looks like mammillaria dixanthocentron. But there are so many mammillaria and hybrids i could be completely wrong lol. wait till the experts weigh in. nice plant tho

When importing lophophora, usda and aphis states that only williamsii is controlled but not regulated by the usda or aphis. I find that quite interesting. diffusa, fricii, pass through customs checks

i use a 10% organic and 90% inorganic on my loph soil. im in the midwest so soil mediums are hard to come by. i use black gold cactus mix and sift it. then 30% turface mvp, 30% pumice, 30% lava rock. These cacti should be carefully watered just if their stems are in active growth. Temps you mentioned are rather winter ones for Mexico and other subtropics where these originate. Cacti of such a size will not dry out or die if kept dry for next 4 - 5 months. If your daytime temps are 65-70f I'd ex...
