Re: Trichocereus Bridge soo monster?
I think you might have the semi-monstrose, called Trichocereus bridgesii f. monstrose/semi-monstrose 'Melted Wax', or just normal TBM. There is also a Tricho bridgesii f. monstrose (Long joined type) which is much longer then the normal TBM. I had a look at your photo again, and I think you might h...

Re: Lithops Optica Rubra growing advice
and after the leaves have fallen off by themselves. Well, they don't really "fall off", though. They just shrivel up and the moist from the old leaves will be taken up by the new leaves as they shrivel up. So don't expect them to drop off like leaves on a tree. But maybe that was not what...

Re: Lithops Optica Rubra growing advice
Thanks Ian for the useful tips. Unfortunately I have lost two of the plants. They looked shrivelled so I watered them a few times. I will not give any water to the surviving plant now until I notice a new head coming through and after the leaves have fallen off by themselves.

Re: Echinocereus?
Hey thanks infact it was labelled as Echinopsis Leucacaha but I thought it was a mislabel or a spelling mistake.
So I guess it is an Enchinopsis Leucantha then thanks

Re: Trichocereus
Ah thank you that is much appreciated
I guess we will find out when it gets larger. Either way it's a very nice plant.

Re: Opuntia ?
G'morning Hero878, I wonder what you could graft onto such thin pads? One pad is the grafting stock. Seedlings around 5 mm in diameter will be scions. Put the sion onto the stock. Cover stock and scion by a paper bag together to minimize the scion to dry up. Frank Thanks! Yeah I guess plantlets wou...

Thanks. That is interesting to know. I wonder what you could graft onto such thin pads?
I love how pale it is and how the spikes seem harmless as they are more like hairs.

Re: Opuntia ?
It resembles Opuntia leucotricha Interesting it looks very similar to leucotricha too Here are some more photos I took. Just a shame they lost the name tag in the shop. Re: Opuntia ?
Opuntia erinacea or ursina maybe. In culture these grow much higher than habitat plants that generally crawl on the ground. Thank you! Much appreciated. Erinacea sure does look like that one :) I've also found this name that looks like it Opuntia Polyacantha var. Erinacea. So it may be a mix betwee...

Re: Euphorbia Inermis stem shrivelled up
Thanks! Yeah glad I removed it as it was the only one deteriorating.greenknight wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 6:19 am Hard to say. Removing it was the right thing to do, in case it's infected with something.

Euphorbia Inermis stem shrivelled up
Just noticed that one of the stems on my E Inermis has shrivelled up. I only got it a few weeks ago and just noticed this today. The shrivelled stem previously looked healthy like the other ones. I did move it to a window sill these past few days so I'm think it could have been the change in tempera...
