I am excited to see two flowers ready to open since I only had 1 last year. However I have several fuzzy buds that seem to be doing nothing. Do they have the potential to bloom or will they just stay as they are? This is all new to me so please forgive my questions.

My cactus has lots of buds but they don't seem to be progressing. Is there still time for them to bloom?

I have this cactus in a Mexican pot and it now has lots of buds on it. First, can someone tell me what kind of cactus it is. I also need to know if it should be repotted. If so, any help in how to go about it would be greatly appreciated.
