Small white crawlies?
I found these things in the drip tray of a planter containing my Oreocereus celsianus, Copiapoa cinerea, and Copiapoa humilis. They're tiny, largest was ~4mm long and <1mm wide. Any ideas what they are? I ended up pulling the plants, didn't notice anything moving in their roots but I rinsed most of ...

Re: Saguaro and Browningia hertlingiana
Thank you! I guess I'm a bit of a masochist for attempting these ones, haha! I do have some other seeds on the way, though some of those might be a bit tricky as well. At least for the saguaro's my partner's young son has agreed to look after them when I'm gone in (hopefully) 40-60 years. With any l...

Saguaro and Browningia hertlingiana
I've been on a bit of a frenzy with new plants lately, and apparently growing from seed has started to figure in to that! First ones that I've started are Saguaro and Browningia hertlingiana. Sowed on April 28, I started with 20 saguaro seeds in one container, and 8 or 9 Browningia hertlingiana in a...

Re: Mystery plants
The Escobaria species look very promising, I'll have to take a closer look when I get home. Thank you for that!

Re: Mystery plants
Echinopsis wpuld jive with the E from the handwritten tag, I'm just not sure what the species would be. Worst case, I'll have to go through every species starting with E

Re: Pretty sure this cutting is Austrocylindropuntia but unsure of species
Could be a very young Austrocylindropuntia subulata, or maybe a mini cholla before it gets its "fingers"?
Those are my best guesses right now

Mystery plants
Hi everyone! I've got two plants that I have at best a vague idea of what they might be. The first is a columnar cactus with yellow and reddish spines. Fresh spines are white and pink, with the older ones darkening to yellow and deep red. A ring of them point sideways out of the areoles, with single...
