Thanks for the quick response! I will go ahead and hold off on the fertilization until germination. And yes I do mean a 100% mineral medium consisting of pumice, black lava rock, chicken grit(granite), perlite, sand, and zeolite. I will probably do a side by side experiment of all non-organic medium...

You can start as soon as germination of done HOWEVER the longer you leave them in high humidity the quicker the growth rate will be compared to open air.
