Thank you DaveW... First time I've heard about Malacocarpus genera
I prefer notocactus, parodia means in Spanish parody, and I don't like that for naming a plant
Regards,
Jorge

Repotting Stetsonia corine
Hello, i´ve been since last year staring at this guy thinking about how to repot him... The spines are very long and sharp, and i was scared about to be injured myself or to hurt him (breaking the beautiful spination...). This is the process i followed, just in case it could be useful for somebody.

Another possibility is the enigmatic M. sp. FO 229 : https://cactus...

Cleaning substrate? (pumice and zeolite)
Hello, recently i bought zeolite and pumice for first time, and i´ve noticed it is very "dusty", with a lot of dirt. So I tried to clean the rocks with water, and for a small amount of the bags i spent a lot of water. I am not used to waste things, specially water because where a live it i...

Bees nesting in pots
Hello all. Since a few weeks ago, i´ve been noticing in three pots with cactus bees coming in and out, sometimes with cuttings of grass (i dont know where they take that grass, it must be far from my home!). They get inside, sometimes upside from the border of the pot using the space between the cac...
