It is possible to make nicotine brew by just placing tobacco, be it cigarette butts or what-have-you in a cup or bowl of water over night. You can grow tobacco in your climate, it is an annual plant.

The leaving them out I really only recommend if you think you have damaged the roots badly. If not simply putting them in soil and leaving without water for a week or so would be fine.

I would leave the pups in tact, it looks more natural and pleasing to the eye to many. But if you need to detach they should have started to develop a bit of a root system of their own and can be pulled off, if not use a razor or very sharp knife to cut each off. Allow to callous and then treat like...

As long as you allow the fruit to dry and collect and store the seeds properly (in a sealed bag out of strong light/temps) you're in good shape. They can last longer than a growing season stored well.

It needs to grow roots, the shriveling is no big deal. As soon as it developes roots and is able to absorb water it will plump up again.

It should not be a risk for surrounding plants. Sometimes I water with hydrogen peroxide mix, I don't have the table of use any longer but about 2-4 tablespoons into whatever amount of water you are using is fair as long as it is a weaker solution. It provides oxygen to the roots and kills off some ...

Yes, many types of fungi actually develop complex relationships with plants. You can get commercial fungicides at places like Walmart, or such. I've heard of people dipping in neem oil since it is to be a fungicide as well, but I'd go with another product if possible.

Yeah I can understand, as I said I've been fighting them on bushes and other in ground plants. They are supposed to be rare in Florida due to humidity, but I guess anything can happen in a drought.

Here is some info I found on Imidacloprid and spider mites.

Apparently it can be linked to a surge in their population.

Excellent, I'm treating mostly Pereskiopsis, a mix of globulars and some columnar seedlings I have a few are 18 inches or so, not too large. This does not work for spider mites does it? Is it one spoon-full to a gallon ratio or something similar, I think someone mentioned that in another thread. I'm...

Well I live in Florida so they can be at times, but after application I can move them onto the porch for about a week or so to allow absorption into the roots and rest of the plant. Is this http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=163006-24182-701510&detail=&lpage=no...

So, the bayer tree and shrub would work as well? I just have to find a ratio of it to soil since it is granules I believe.
