So i have been using just general "cactus" soil and wanted to strat mixing my own ive read a lot of different stuff about it but i wanted to get maximum gain but keep it simple so i wanted just 3 ingredients so i keep keep it simple but hopefully more suited for cacti. Heres the 3 differen...

I cant think of a reason that it wouldnt work but as long as the stock is healthy and a lot left could you re-use the stock and graft another cacti on it?

At one year old, I think you should get in the habit of giving them a dark period. You can buy timers now to switch things on and off when you're too stoned to do it :) Adult cacti need a night and a day to grow properly. For whatever reason small seedlings seem to manage without, but don't push it...

have half 1 year old seedlinds and the rest are a month of mostly ungerminated seeds should i be more attentive to turning off the lights at least 4 hours??

Man i love how much spinage those little guys have going on it never gets old seeing little seedlings they look so neat haha

When de-grafting is it similar to just taking a new cutting where as you cut off the whole stock of the plant and let it root on its own or would you just bury the whole stock and let it root? is there advantages and disadvantages to either. as in if you grated on a pereskiopsis could you just bury ...
