A friend just gave me the attached. I think it is an opuntia subdulata...is it? I'm concerned that the tips of the "leaves" have some yellowing...should I be concerned and if so, what is the remedy?

The first is some sort of Mam.
I think the second could be a parodia of some type.
The third is some sort of mam.
The fourth could be a parodia nivosa but i'm not sure.

I keep getting conflicting opinions regarding the exact ID of these; any help would be appreciated.

You are right about the state of Arizona not agreeing with the act of rescuing native plants but I just could not sit around and watch that plant be subject to abuse...I decided to take the chance...I just wish people would not destroy things. Thanks for the guess at the type.
