Re: C and D's Succulents

Very impressive and thank you for the detailed information. So are the ones that made it plants that are more opportunistic when it comes to water needs? Is your plan to transplant these now?

Re: C and D's Succulents

Awesome. How did you care for them? Are they covered or out in the open? Makes my failed attempts seem way to agonizing after seeing this here in So. Cal.

Re: C and D's Succulents

I'll take a stab at the naming game. For the first one, your 'Paint Ball', 'Space Balls'.

When I first saw it I thought of the Hostess Sno balls. You my name would be Cherry Sno(w) ball. :D

Re: A troubled Euphorbia?

My first impression is pedilanthus macrocarpus. but it appears to have large leaves still attached to it, so its got me stumped. pedilanthus macrocarpus does not have such large leaves. Perhaps some other species of pedilanthus... like P. bracteatus? My guess is pedilanthus too....bracteatus with t...

Fabulous!!! Thanks for doing the 5 and a half year comparison. It gives me hope that my little gems will grow up one day and look as good as yours.

Re: Gasteria nitida var. armstrongii

Thinking about sowing some gasteria seeds myself. I just harvested some and wondered what was the best time of year to sow. Looks like you did it in Oct. Could it be done year round or should it be in the cool season?

Did any of these make it to adulthood by the way? Picture?
