Re: Pyrorchis nigricans - Looking for this Australian succulent orchid

Seems like an odd one to want when Portulaca cyclophylla and Portulaca bicolor exist. The spectacular Calandrinia species, as well. Even among the orchids, the Bulbophyllum species Attila featured are far more succulent and charismatic. Easier to grow, as well. Most onions are more succulent than Py...

Re: BCSS

Time to start up the National Croatian Succulent Society and the National Finnish Succulent Society...! Re: Where did everyone go.

I've heard of the China Cactus and Succulent Union.which as far as I know is an organization of merchants who don't represent enthusiasts, just a subset of sellers. There are not many types of succulent in China. Due to climate reasons, there are about 200-300 species of sedum in mainland China, an...

Re: Where did everyone go.

You can imagine Britain in 1850~1900,There must have been a lot of damage to wild plants back then.it is difficult to convince enthusiasts to reduce their fanaticism about some plants. Britain in 1850-1900 was full of newly collected wild plants, many of them from China. We have destroyed much of o...

Re: Overwhelmed!

The name "mother of thousands" should give you a clue as to why you have a lot of small ones of the same plant that look quite different. Don't let them overhang any other pots or you will have many more.
