The seed are from Mams., Discos., Melos., and Frailea asteroides. Thinking of putting them all in a shallow pan divided by sticks or straws.

Nice job with the photography Dave. Looks like you know your stuff. Sometimes I get lucky and get quality such as you have shown but certainly not as a general rule. But I can name numerous excuses for my failure.

Is this the typical reproductive process. That looks very weird. I have a Cintia knizei that became totally split and took on a crested appearance. Since there was no longer any apical growth, it branched in two places with both growths developing normally.
