Thanks again Dave :) Do you think possibly Lobivia aurea? I've read the blooms can be yellow, pink or white.

Re: Any ideas on this one?

Thank you Dave
The Cacti encyclopedia by Innes and Glass has this listed under Lobivia with the synonym "Echinopsis backebergii".

Help with one more please.

I think this one is Echinocereus fererrianus but the books say flowers should be deep rose pink.
These blooms are very light pink, almost white. Any thoughts on this one?
It's in a 3 inch pot. Thank you.

Re: Any ideas on this one?

Great! Thank you Aloinopsis. I think you nailed it. :D I was just looking at pics on CactiGuide and they are very variable. I'm so glad it finally bloomed this morning. Thanks again!

Any ideas on this one?

I've scoured CactiGuide and other sources for this one with no luck. It was labeled Parodia but I doubt it. It's in a 4 inch pot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: What have I been doing wrong?

Hi Dave, I think neglect is the key as you said. :) I've only been collecting cacti for about 8 years, but I've given my sister several cuttings and offsets over the years and hers seem to thrive! When I ask her what the secret is ,her answer is usually "neglect". So now I've been rethinki...
