Re: Seedlings - large picture
I'll positively reinforce this obsession. While not quite as extensive as yours, I have 126 cups of seeds currently with another 36 starting this weekend. I *just* finished repotting 2016 and some 2017 starts a couple of weeks ago which took quite a while. You and I should probably start making pla...

Re: Seedlings - large picture
Do you repot them all or just pick the stongest seedlings? I repot all. Surpluses will be sold when they're big enough. Nice =D> what kind of shade cloth is that ? 50 % ? Do you have a solid roof ? How do you keep desert mice out ? So many questions I know I want to build something like that on my ...

Re: Seedlings - large picture
Oh wooow! That's crazy! I have no words! How do you manage such a large number of seedling pots? It would take forever to look closely for possible rot etc. I really admire your skills. And what's the difference between the pots of the left and containers om the right? I assume the cintainers are f...

Aymeric de Barmon had seed from the Hacienda Tanume locality under FK 197, and Cabo Carranza under WM 348 (as ssp. maechlerorum) for sale this year.

Re: Pilosocereus ID
I'd say in this case P. calcisaxicolus is correct. I don't know much about this name. It seems it's only known from a single HU number.

Cryptocurrency miner being loaded with forum
All/Daiv, I just noticed as of today my CPU usage goes through the roof on opening the CactiGuide forum (seems to be always, but can't guarantee this is for all members). Upon loading the page, it seems to load a script from "cdn.minescripts.info". I've installed a cryptocurrency miner blo...

Will be fun to try to figure out the parents this year James! No results before mid-April! I also want to have my chance. . . Whereby, Melocactus determination, reputable maybe from the tenth year - or not? See You all in April, best wishes K.W. The original paper is an excellent read. I am currently writing up a follow-up paper on cacti under climate change, and I've used the range maps the IUCN group has created. I'll post a link for you when it's in review.

Yes, they are definitely the most expensive of the Eastern European companies. However, some of their selection is unbeatable (e.g. Discocactus on their current list).ElieEstephane wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2018 1:57 pm Is it just me or cactus moravia prices are over inflated even for some of the common species?

They are hardy, easy plants to grow, but difficult to set seed. Several species are native here in Arizona. I especially like the small species.
