Nice pictures. These are the small really hard to find cactus of the high desert right ? Do you cultivate any of them in Phoenix ?

I found Phoenix to be a difficult climate for some cactus, perfect for others.

Near Ojai. Has lots of succulents and a few cactus. Some big stuff if I remember right.

I use 40 and 50% knited shade cloth I bought at Arizona Bag Company. Yep. Next I will build a small shadehouse where they are now. maybe next year.

Mid summer

Mid Summer here is S. CA USA. Warming to mid 80F then cooling to 55F at night. Humid. Cactus all growing in there own slow way. Its just too cool and humid here to pour on the water.
