T Densum now flowering. The flowers seem to take an age to open. Then they open in the afternoon at approx 2pm for only a short period. Really attractive display though.

Great little plants stomatiums. Just like Faucarias. They flower in the late evening into the night.

This is a great little miniature alpine delosperma. Its not as small as sphalmanthoides.
It also flowers in the morning. Unusual for a mesemb.
From the high mountains above lesoto.

Always flowers in the spring. A miniature nananthus cuter than the outher and one of the best looking. Mostly yellow striped flowers but I have a white one also. There are a number of miniature mesembs suitable for miniature gardens.

Alionopsis Villettii now flowering. This is a very slow growing plant Ive had it for years. It doesent get much bigger. year on year.
Nice lemon yellow flowers. Some alionopsis flowers are a bit insipid. These are nice and bright. Seed source mesa garden.

Very few mesembs are self fertile, there are one or two such as delosperma harazianum. But generally you need two plants to make seed. Trichos generally need rooting hormone to do cuttings. Bulbine lagopus flowering a succulent bulb. Bulbines have strange elegant pollen structures. They are a strange band of succulent bulbs, some are extremely wierd.
