Re: C and D's Succulents
As usual gorgeous plants. Since you guys have such great Adromischus collection, I'm wondering if you know if Adromischus festivus (or A. cooperi var festivus) is a very rare variety? I'm having a hard time finding it anywhere... Here's what the plant looks like. Really quite adorable... http://gd4....

Re: Haworthia or Aloe?
Don't think it's an hybrid. It looks like H. fasciata to me. Not calling it H. attenuata because of the inner sides of the leaves are unmarked.

Re: Haworthia in need of Id if possible
First one is H. resendeana. Mine are dark green - green colour because I grow them indoor in containers.
Second one I wanna say H. viscosa but not 100% sure

Nice and healthy plants
What kind of growing medium are they in?? I remember seeing those at IKEA. Are they suitable for succulents?

Re: Pleiospilos nelli and P. Royal Flush question
I literally haven't watered mine at all since November since it's changing leaves still since last winter, and it is doing perfectly fine from what I can see. Still trying to get rid of those fat old leaves

Re: I do not even know where to start looking
Agree with the IDs, the Haworthia has many variations so it's difficult to ID what exactly it is.
That soil looks all sorts of terrifying, make sure you can get these guys into some new soil at earliest convenience, they will reward you with some better growth

Yeah, sadly it is rotten or in the process of, you may be able to save one or two if you seize watering completely.
I haven't watered my Royal Flush ever since I see the new heads growing, and so far it is looking well

Re: Potted up my mesembs, need advice on watering
Thanks Kitty and Ian, right now the only mesemb that is flowering is the Faucaria, and buds seem to be forming (very slowly) on the Fenestrarias. Argy and Lithops are both not doing much still.... Now that November is here, maybe I'll see some changes soon for the Lithops, I think I will give them o...

Re: Potted up my mesembs, need advice on watering
Thank you all :) I live in Ontario, so right now it's already getting quite cold. Last week was all 8-12 degree Celsius, this week a bit higher but I'm sure soon it will go down again. I grow all my plants at the windowsill though so there's no worry of moving them inside or whatnot, I do need to ma...

Re: Potted up my mesembs, need advice on watering
Sounds good, thanks guys! For some reason, I thought they have same dormancy period as Lithops. I will be watching and watering them lightly when wrinkled then

Re: Potted up my mesembs, need advice on watering
Thanks! I'm happy to report that the argies are finally responding to watering well. I water it every other week when it starts to look wrinkly, and it smooths and plumps up the next day or two. The explode marks stay there of course, hopefully it will regenerate just fine during the winter. Do I st...

I believe the official name of these is Orbea variegata now, but not sure if the two plants have slightly different names, they are very similar

Re: Id for my neighbour please.
Yup! I think the full name is Crassula perfoliata var. falcata 'Airplane plant' or 'propeller plant'.
I got myself a young one last month, hopefully one day it will bloom beautifully like that!
