Re: Is this corking???

hi there, it looks like your plant possibly has been sunburned from either too much or too strong/intense sun exposure that it wasnt acclimatized to, and the hard patches are scar tissue. also, the top part isnt actually a flower:) what you have is two different species of cactus grafted together, t...

Columnar loph?

I've uploaded a picture of the lophophora williamsii v. caespitosa in question and it's "sibling" that I got at the same time a few years back. When I got them they looked essentially identical but gradually I've noticed one seems to just continue to grow vertically without gaining any wid...

Re: Mamm. duwei leaning away from the light?

Unless there's a curve developing in the cactus itself its soil might just be a bit too loose at the base to support it, especially if it's been repotted in the last few months it might not have a strong foothold in the soil yet. Re: T. bridgesii ?

From the images I've been looking at the spines seem a good bit shorter than this guys? Are they changeable within the species?

T. bridgesii ?

Found this young guy at a woodies DIY store at the beginning of the year and just saw someone post about theirs on here that looks quite similar. The growth point is a bit damaged from hot glue and a paper flower but hopefully it'll recover as its a very pretty plant. Has a nice bluey shade to it wi...
