Prickly pear fruit left over from last year!
I have a cockspur prickly pear (O. pusilla) that finally flowered last summer after 4 years of nothing. Eight pretty yellow blooms came and went and formed fruit. The majority of the fruits turned yellow,shriveled up and fell away. Three of them ripened and fell off and,though far from what I'd call...
